Welcome to Save My Links!
Your favorite websites, all on one page — organized the way you want.
Your links sit in cells on linkboards. Make a board for news, one for travel, one for work — as many as you like. Research any topic and save the links here.
The linkboards are highly customizable. Create the color themes and layout of the boards any way you want.
Free and private. There's nothing to install and no account to make. Everything is saved right here, in this browser, on this computer. No data is sent anywhere.
Let's get you started — it takes about a minute.
Getting Started —Add your “Save Links” bookmark
It's a special bookmark that lives in your browser's bookmarks bar. On any website, one click saves its link for you.
- Make sure your bookmarks bar is showing. Press Ctrl+Shift+B on Windows, or on a Mac, Cmd+Shift+B.
- Drag this blue Save Links button up to your bookmarks bar and place it where you will see it all the time:
(Tip: Drag it — don't click it.)
See it in your bookmarks bar? Now you're ready to save links!
Now save your first link.
- In a new tab, open any website you like.
- Click the “Save Links” bookmark you just added in your bookmarks bar.
- Come back to this tab. This guide will be waiting for you.
- Click the Place Links button on the top menu, then click any empty cell.
Your first link is on your board.
Click the link any time — it opens in a new tab.
The menu has three modes.
The highlighted menu button is the mode you are in.
View — viewing your links. Your everyday mode. Click a link and the website opens in a new tab.
Edit — where you can add and edit link information. Click the ✎ on a cell to add or change a link, give it search tags and notes. Or give the cell a title (instead of a link). In Edit mode you can drag cells, moving them to new locations, add rows, and add new boards with the + tab.
Notes — click the ℹ on a link to read its notes and tags, or share it.
Next to the modes are two buttons: Save Styles saves the color scheme and look you created for your dashboard, and Place Links places your saved links onto your current board.
More ways to add links — Edit mode, the Manually Add Links box and Batch Upload — are explained in the Learn panel.
On the left side are your panels.
Each panel opens and closes with a click.
- Presets — ready-made styles that you can edit and re-style to your liking.
- Style — change colors and sizes to create your own board look.
- Links — other ways to add links, and links waiting in your queue.
- Groups — color and move groups of links together.
- Settings — your preferences, options and backups.
- Search — find any link across all linkboards.
- Learn — all the guidance and videos you need.
Take the guided tour.
You're all set!
Keep a backup. Your links live in this browser on this computer. Every so often, go to Settings › Import and Export and click Export entire dashboard. The app will remind you.
Using another browser or computer? Each browser (on any computer) keeps its own dashboard. To keep the same links on all your computers, export the links here and import them to your other computers.
Whenever you need help, open Learn in the left panels — it's your guidebook, with a lesson for every feature (coming soon).
In the works — a mobile version and a subscription version that keeps your links in sync across all of your devices.
Done with this guide? You can hide the Start Here button any time in Settings › Preferences.
